About this recipe
This salad is delicious with a good piece of meat grilled (or pan-fried) in the oven, or simply with fish.
Ingredients
- 1 Grapefruit
- 500 g Mixed lettuce
- 100 g Dried mulberries
- 100 g Mixed nuts
- 1 dash of peanut oil
- Olive oil, pepper, and salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven. Once it is hot, you can start with this recipe.
- Place the grapefruit on the stone floor, deep in the oven. Make sure the grapefruit does not come into direct contact with the flame.
- Meanwhile, take a stainless steel or cast iron pan and place it on the stone floor until it becomes warm.
- Briefly fry the mulberries and nuts in a small amount of archide oil. Shake occasionally to prevent them from burning. They are ready when they are lightly browned.
- After 20 to 30 minutes, remove the grapefruit with a glove. The peel may be partially charred, but that is not a problem. The aroma of the grapefruit is irresistible.
- Fill a nice salad bowl with the mixed lettuce, nuts, and mulberries.
- Cut the grapefruit in half and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Spread the flesh evenly over the lettuce.
- Finish with salt, pepper, and a dash of olive oil.
