As an amateur chef, I had been looking for a barbecue for some time. For my 50th birthday, I took part in a pizza workshop where ovens from the Flemish brand Vonken were used and the workshops were given by real professionals. This oven reaches 450 degrees within half an hour and can also be used as a barbecue to make snacks, starters, main courses, and even desserts such as cakes, dessert pizzas, etc. And once it's up to temperature, you can make the only real Neapolitan pizza in 90 seconds. Vonken Urban. I had been a fan of these ovens for a long time, but the Vonken Spark was a real game changer for me and a no-brainer purchase. Being able to switch fuels is an incredible added value. It is a very user-friendly oven that reaches the desired temperature in no time, whether using wood or gas. The oven is really as versatile as it is presented; anyone who buys it just for pizzas is doing the oven an injustice. Thanks to its sturdy insulation, the outside doesn't get very hot, making it very child-friendly. The Vonken Academy is definitely a very useful tool, especially in the beginning; the videos provide quick and clear explanations."
Years of Vonken/amazing durable oven, smart design, and joy to use. I’ve had a Vonken oven for years now — started with one of the minis (lasted me 4 years without a hitch) and recently upgraded to a larger model. What I love most is how easy it is to use — from lighting it up to getting the fire going, the design just makes sense. It heats up fast, and once you get the hang of managing the wood and temperature, you can really do everything: pizza, bread, veggies, even slow roasts. I care about both functionality but also style, and this hits both. The build feels solid and well thought out — not just in how it looks (which is beautiful), but in the details."
Vonken is simply a fantastic outdoor oven. Sure, it's not exactly cheap, but it's totally worth the money. I also took part in a few pizza workshops with Vonken ovens, and it was simply the best pizza I've ever had. You can really tell that a lot of love goes into the manufacturing process. And you can even put your beer on the oven and it won't get warm. Very cool.
"Best-looking (pizza) oven and top-notch service. I switched to the smallest model in the new Urban series almost a year ago, which is perfect for my balcony in terms of size. The oven works perfectly. It heats up super fast and easily (faster than your home oven), is easy to control, and with a few extra accessories, you can make anything in it.
