Cooling-off period (trial period) and returns

For all products purchased online from Vonken, you have a cooling-off period of14 calendar days in accordance with the Belgian law on trade practices, consumer information, and protection of April 12, 2010. This period commences upon receipt by you or on your behalf. During the cooling-off period, we expect you to handle the goods and packaging with care. There is no right of withdrawal if the product and packaging are no longer in their original, complete, undamaged, and unused condition.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing by email within 14 calendar days from the day following delivery of the product.info@vonken-ovens.com. There is no penalty for canceling the purchase, and this can be done without giving reasons, but the transport costs to Vonken BV will be borne by the customer exercising the right of withdrawal.

The goods must be returned undamaged, unused, and unopened (in their original condition and packaging) within five business days after you have informed the seller by email (see above). The shipping date will be used as a check. All accompanying documentation, warranty certificates, and packaging materials must be included with the return shipment, as well as your bank account number. The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the buyer. Unstamped or insufficiently stamped shipments will always be refused and returned to the sender. Vonken may also refuse returned goods if the original packaging has been opened or if the products have been damaged by the buyer.

Vonken will refund the full purchase price, including shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving the goods. If it appears that the goods have not been received in accordance with the terms and conditions of the right of withdrawal, the purchase price, including shipping costs, will not be refunded, or will not be refunded in full. In that case, the product remains your property. At your request, the product can also be sent back to you, provided you pay the associated shipping costs.

Exceptions to the provisions set forth are as follows.

If a product has been specially made or modified for you, you are logically not entitled to the seven-day right of withdrawal.

This exception also applies to perishable goods, CDs, DVDs, software, CD-ROMs, or other similar products whose seal has been broken or whose packaging has been opened.

If a product has been visibly used or damaged in any other way, your right to a refund will lapse.
